The Licking County Treehouse Company sets itself apart by offering tailored treehouse designs that cater to individual preferences and the specific characteristics of each tree. What truly distinguishes this company is its dedication to sustainability and craftsmanship. One of the key elements that make these treehouses stand out is the sourcing of materials. Instead of using generic, store-bought lumber, the company takes a more hands-on approach by sawmilling the wood themselves. By doing so, they not only ensure the quality and authenticity of the materials but also minimize the environmental impact of their projects. Sustainable sourcing is at the core of the company’s ethos. Each treehouse project starts with locally sourced, sustainably harvested trees that are carefully selected for their strength, durability, and aesthetic appeal. The process of sawmilling the lumber on-site not only adds a personal touch to each project but also reduces transportation costs and carbon emissions associated with the sourcing of materials from distant suppliers. The result? Treehouses that not only provide a whimsical escape into nature but also embody a commitment to environmental stewardship. From the intricate details of the handcrafted woodwork to the cozy interiors that blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings, every treehouse tells a story of sustainability and creativity. Whether you are looking to create a magical play space for your children or a serene retreat for yourself, the Licking County Treehouse Company has the expertise and passion to bring your treehouse dreams to life. So why settle for a cookie-cutter design when you can have a one-of-a-kind treehouse that reflects your unique style and values? Experience the art of sustainable treehouse construction with the Licking County Treehouse Company, where craftsmanship meets conservation in every branch and beam. Process:

1. Meet w/ our team to access potential tree house locations on your property. (we will also bring in a certified arborist to inspect the trees).

2. Work through design and sizes of tree house. Also make selections on the siding style, stain colors, roofing material and color, how many windows, what kind of door, insulation, and electrical option, etc.

3. We then sawmill the lumber materials needed to construct your tree house (can also use your logs / fallen trees).  We will then run your materials through a cycle in our iDRY vacuum kiln. This will dry/cure the wood, and kill any insects living in the wood.

4. Order TABS (tree house attachment bolts)

5. Get materials to your site and set up our work camp.

6. Construction Begins --- tree houses can take 2 weeks - 20 weeks depending on the style and scope of work involved.
